Tennessee Horse Farm
Williamson County, with a population of approximately 175,000, is to the south of Nashville Tennessee real estate and Davidson County with Brentwood TN homes, Franklin Tennessee homes, Fairview, Nolensville, Spring Hill area real estate and College Grove as the most important cities included in its boundaries.  The top five employers are Cool Springs Galleria, Williamson County Schools, Williamson Medical Center, Nissan North America and Verizon Wireless.  The county has 37 public schools with an enrollment of about 30,000, Franklin Special School District with an enrollment of about 4000, and 11 private schools with an enrollment of almost 2000.

College Grove is the most impressive new area of Williamson County.  It is soon to be home to the Greg Norman Signature Golf Club and Resort, Laurel Cove.  There are some 840 homes to be built there with amenities rivaling all upscale golf courses in the state.  This beautiful site is only 20 minutes from all the shopping and restaurants in the Cool Springs Galleria area.  It promises to be the jewel of Williamson County residential developments.

Brentwood is known for many things, one of which is that the Grand Ole Opry has always been beamed all over the central U.S. from an 878-foot tower at the geographical center of Brentwood. The town was incorporated in 1969 and since then has strictly adhered to one-home-per-acre density.  Native Americans are thought to have lived in the area as long as 2,000 years ago.  European settlement dates to the late 1780's with the first settlers thought to have lived near Old Smyrna Road and Wilson Pike.  The population of Brentwood is approximately 35 thousand. It is home to many, many million-dollar homes, great schools, wonderful shopping and easy access to interstate highways.

Franklin is the Williamson County seat with a special census on 2007 certifying the population at 54,000.  It is best known locally for its historic downtown section that was founded in 1799.  Franklin is to Civil War buffs, the site of the bloodiest five-hour battle in 1864 that shredded the Confederate Army of Tennessee and ended the last hopes of military victory.  More recently, Franklin, Tennessee has gained a national reputation for a growing list of corporate headquarters, including Verizon Wireless and Nissan North America.  It is home to Belmont University at Cool Springs, a campus of Columbia State Community College, O'Moore College of Design, and Williamson Christian College.

Nolensville is one of the newest growth areas in Williamson County.  It is in the northeast corner of Williamson County, abutting Davidson and Rutherford counties as well as Brentwood.  The brisk residential and commercial growth has surpassed all the other areas of growth in Williamson County, and it is located in one of the most convenient areas to downtown, the airport, and many lovely shopping districts and restaurants.  This little city is the place to live for affordability and location.
